About Madonna Lovett Repeta...

Madonna Lovett Repeta started "getting into" photography while she was a student at the University of Vermont. In 1997 she quit her job and decided to follow her passion; photography. She has been working as a photographer ever since.

Madonna specializes in capturing color and light. She enjoys photographing portraits of individuals, families, and pets as well as landscapes and botanicals.

Madonna also transforms some of her photographs to give the appearance of a painting. She calls this transformation "filter effects". Many of her photographs are available in "filter effects". All of her photographs are available on photo paper or canvas; in prints, postcards, or as personalized note cards. Madonna's work can be seen in local shops, galleries and stores.

Madonna's ten years as an Image Consultant provided her with an excellent background in the areas of make-up, color and fashion. This background serves her well when photographing portraits of individuals, families, and High School Seniors.

Madonna has studied photography at the University of Vermont, the New Hampshire Institute of Art, and The Nikkon School of Photography. She has also attended courses with the Gerlach School of Nature Photography and portrait photographer Michael Redford. She is a member of the New Hampshire Professional Photographer's Association.

Madonna has won the following awards in the state of New Hampshire:

- 2006 NHOS - won three ribbons/awards.
- 2002 Bedford Bulletin Photography Contest - 1st place
- 2000 New Hampshire Union Leader Photography Contest
- 2000 New Hampshire Governor's Lilac and Wildflower Commission
- 1999 Bedford Bulletin Home Improvement Photo Contest

Madonna lives in Bedford, New Hampshire with her husband and two children. She believes in giving back to the community. She was the photographer for the Town's 250 Birthday portrait. She also took the official photograph of the Bedford Women's Club 100th Anniversary gift to the Town. Madonna volunteers as a photographer for the Bedford Fire Department. She has shot the photographs for the firefighter's official portraits, their "trading cards" used in the local schools and all the photos for Bedford Firefighter's annual calendar; "The Boys of Bedford".
